Home sweet home! On Friday, Australian musician Troye Sivan, 25, gave fans in in-depth tour of his sensational Victoria-era home to Architectural Digest ‘s May issue, after snapping up the property last year

The home was previously a handball court back in 1874, which then transformed into a brick factory before becoming a place of residence.

Although it’s been heavily renovated by Troye, it still features much of the essence of its Victorian-era origins.

During his tour, Troye first took viewers his loft-style living area, which features stunning high ceilings and exposed beams and staircases.

Plant life runs rife throughout the open-plan living space – including an apple tree in the centre – while his choices of lamps offer ‘a soup of light’ that ‘gently fills the room’.

The kitchen oozes luxury with green stone counter-tops, integrated appliances, black steel cupboards and ‘heaps and heaps of wood’.

The two bedrooms – one of which is for his sister Sage – are equally as impressive, both of which look out to a huge park and feature ‘cork ceilings’ to make them feel like a ‘really cosy cave’.

Troye described his bathroom as his ‘sanctuary’. The room has an impressive bathtub and stunning marble flooring.

Meanwhile, the courtyard is dotted with several native Australian plants and water features.

‘This is the reason why I fell in love with the house,’ Troye said, before telling viewers about one of the most exciting features of the house – a ‘secret fantasy outdoor toilet’.

‘Sometimes I make it like a rave in here. It’s extra and I love it,’ he said of the bathroom, which is hidden at the end of the courtyard.

The room in question – which was previously a wine cellar – features curved walls ‘painted in ox-blood paint’ to look ‘like a cave’, dark, mysterious lighting and marble flooring.

‘I am so unbelievably happy here and I feel so at home,’ he concluded.
