Irina Shayk shows off rock star edge with red and black leather jacket to go on solo stroll in NYC

Irina Shayk kept it edgy on her latest stroll through chilly New York City on Tuesday.

The 35-year-old supermodel donned her coolest red and black leather jacket for the trek outdoors, pairing the stylish item with light wash jeans and a pair of white boots.

The Versace model braved the snow-lined streets to run errands in a matching black face covering to protect from contracting COVID-19.  

The fashionista stayed warm with a black hoodie underneath her jacket and kept her hair pulled back in a mess bun to avoid it getting in her face amid the winter breeze.

Irina completed the look with a small black leather purse, black sunglasses and a necklace for the solo stroll.

The Russian beauty, who shares her three-year-old daughter with ex-fiance Bradley Cooper, recently told Vogue she’s been experimenting with her ‘street style’ in quarantine.

She said: ‘In my normal life, I never got dressed up, because for me it was all about comfort. Before, we used to go to big events and parties with make-up and get dressed up. Now, I think I miss those fun moments, so I decided that I can have fun with a street style.’ 

The Sports Illustrated model also noted that her mood changes when she adds a splash of color to her wardrobe.

She added: ‘I had so many different pieces sitting in my closet from years ago. When I didn’t know what to wear, I’d wear something simple and black. Now, I figured it is time to use a splash of color in my wardrobe. When you put on some color, it just brings your mood to a different level.’

Irina has recently been spotted sporting numerous colorful coats during her city outings, including a walk pushing her daughter Lea in a stroller last week while bundled up in a golden yellow coat. 

The siren was also seen in tiger-printed and striped garments on errand runs earlier this month.

Shayk’s main beauty go-tos are the 24k pure gold items from celebrity aesthetician Mimi Luzon.

Her most notable product to date is the Instagram-famous 24-karat gold leaf anti-wrinkle mask, which the model has sported on her own social media accounts.

The skincare expert is a close friend of Irina and the pair teamed up on a 24k Pure Gold Lip Treatment and an Epic Lush Lip Mask.

‘When I need my skin to look it’s best, Mimi Luzon is the only facialist I’d trust with my complexion,’ said Irina.

The beauty icon didn’t have access to luxury skincare products growing up in the small southwestern town of Yemanzhelinsk, Russia, so her mother taught her to use what was in the fridge to help boost her complexion.

She told Vogue: ‘I didn’t start to use creams and stuff until I was like 19 or 20 and I started to work as a model.

‘Before, we didn’t really have access to the creams and stuff. We’d use stuff from the refrigerators, like a cucumber mask for moisturizing or something. I remember my mother was cooking with coconut oil and putting it on her skin as well. She was using whatever she was cooking with.’
