It’s war! Chris Hemsworth hits back at Ryan Reynolds after THAT video

Chris Hemsworth’s tongue-in-cheek feud with Ryan Reynolds shows no sign of slowing down.

After the Deadpool actor, 44, filmed his mother ‘trash talking’ Chris on Monday, the Thor: Ragnarok star has thrown down the gauntlet by roping in a crew member to hurl insults at his Hollywood rival.

The 37-year-old Aussie shared a video to Instagram on Wednesday in which he fed lines to costume designer Dan Blacklock on the set of Netflix movie Spiderhead.

‘Hey Ryan Reynolds, what’s up man? I saw you got your mum to trash talk me and say some horrible things about me, so I’ve got my dad here to say a few things about you,’ Chris began.

‘I’m not your dad… [Ryan] is a top man,’ Dan replied.

Chris continued: ‘He’s not a top man! We talked about this before. Tell them all the stuff we discussed: you hate him, he’s a d**khead, the worst actor, your least favourite Canadian in the whole world.’

Dan protested, saying he’d never said a single bad thing about Ryan and that Chris’ comments were ‘ridiculous’.

‘It’s not ridiculous, it’s what we talked about!’ Chris said.

‘You said you hate Aviation Gin, it’s disgusting,’ he added, referring to Ryan’s gin company which he recently sold to Diageo for $610million (AU$845million).

Chris then said: ‘And Green Lantern, what did you say about that? It’s not the best movie ever. Even if you liked him, it’s not.’

Comedic: 'Hey Ryan Reynolds, what's up man? I saw you got your mum to trash talk me and say some horrible things about me, so I've got my dad here to say a few things about you,' Chris began. Dan clarified that he wasn't Chris' father and insisted he did not, in fact, dislike Ryan

On Monday, Ryan shared a video to his Twitter account featuring his mother, Tammy, going on an expletive-laden rant against Chris.

The pair’s feud is actually an inside joke stemming from their charitable fantasy football league, which also includes actors Chris Pratt, Anthony Mackie and Karen Gillan as members.

The video begins with Tammy introducing herself, and noting that her son insisted that she read a statement he had written.

‘Chris Hemsworth is everyone’s least favorite Australian. And as a reminder, Hugh Jackman still exists,’ she said.

‘Chris is a no-good a**hat who looks like a bodybuilder f**ked a platypus.’

Her subsequent line featured the most bleeps in the entire video, with Tammy noting that ‘only a mother can say this next part’.

Ouch! 'Chris is a no-good a**hat who looks like a bodybuilder f**ked a platypus,' she said

Afterwards, she apologised for her son’s message, stating: ‘I am so sorry for my son Ryan, Chris. You know, it’s my fault, I brought him up wrong.’

The message ended with one last dig at Chris, with saying that ‘I loved you in Wonder Woman! It was the best’. Chris Pine actually starred in the 2017 movie.
