‘True friends will be by your side through it all’ read a text slide in Jen’s Instagram story.

She then added some of her own words below the text and later reposted the message several times with supportive comments from pals.

‘Thank you to those of you who that have shown my family and I real friendship, unconditional love & true loyalty during this difficult time,’ she wrote.

Adding: ‘Thank you for not judging me and not believing everything you read online. I asked Allah to show me who my real friends are and he has. Allah Akbar.’

Shah was arrested in Salt Lake City while Bravo cameras were rolling and faces up to 30 years in prison for allegedly defrauding elderly people via a telemarketing scheme which New York prosecutors say went on for nine years.

As part of the conditions of her release, Shah is prevented from traveling outside of Utah or the United States without the permission of a pretrial officer, and ordered to surrender her passport.

She is also not allowed to use a credit card, obtain a new line of credit, or contact her co-accused assistant, Smith.

'Jennifer Shah, who portrays herself as a wealthy and successful businessperson on 'reality' television, and Stuart Smith, who is portrayed as Shah's 'first assistant,' allegedly generated and sold 'lead lists' of innocent individuals for other members of their scheme to repeatedly scam,' Manhattan U.S. Attorney Audrey Strauss said. ‘In actual reality and as alleged, the so-called business opportunities pushed on the victims by Shah, Smith, and their co-conspirators were just fraudulent schemes, motivated by greed, to steal victims’ money. Now, these defendants face time in prison for their alleged crimes.’
