Jenna reflected on playing Dharma during the interview, calling the iconic character ‘ahead of her time’.

‘I think Dharma is a great role model for owning who you are, not apologising or needing permission from others to be who you really are,’ she said.

‘And I think that she was a little ahead of her time in that way and I think that’s a true feminist, someone who just owns who they are as a woman,’ she added.

Dharma & Greg originally aired for five seasons from 1997 to 2002.

Jenna recently returned to the spotlight in a major way thanks to a starring role in The Walking Dead spin-off, Fear The Walking Dead.
