Jennifer Lopez and Selena Gomez lead the stars at the Global Citizen: Vax Live concert

Jennifer Lopez and Selena Gomez showed off contrasting glamorous looks as they hit the red carpet at the all-star Global Citizen: Vax Live benefit concert.

The show, which was held at the SoFi stadium in Inglewood, California, on Sunday, featured a whose-who of celebrities as they worked to raise money to get healthcare workers across the globe immunized against the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Selena, 28, was on hand to host the event, while Jennifer, 51, was among the evening’s high-profile performers.

The Out Of Sight star made a sensation more than 20 years ago at the Grammys in a cleavage-baring Versace dress, and she put on another busty look with a somewhat more conservative white jumpsuit on Sunday night.

The outfit, designed by Elie Saab, was belted around her midriff to highlight her hourglass figure and featured a plunging top that reached down just above her navel.

The flowing outfit had a sheer top and voluminous sleeves covered in silver sequins designed to look like graceful dragonfly wings.

Jennifer wore her thick caramel-colored locks parted down the middle and swept across her shoulder, and she added some sparkle with a VRAI diamond necklace.

The Hustlers star’s look also featured a dual train hanging from her hips. 

Selena Gomez looked chic in a more muted scarlet dress.

The conservative outfit featured puffy sleeves and was ribbed around her midriff.

The Spring Breakers star added some flair with thigh-high black patent leather boots to accentuate her 5ft5in height.

Selena also sported her newly dyed blond tresses, which she parted down the middle with strands to frame her elegantly made-up face.

Chrissy Teigen added some more color to the charity concert with a silky orange off-the-shoulder dress.

The sculpted look included a translucent panel over her cleavage and was ruched around her midriff with a matching belt cinched tight.

The wife of John Legend stood tall in brown open-toe heels and carried a long train behind her.

She brought along her daughter Luna, who playfully marched behind her while keeping the dress off the ground. 

Olivia Munn opted for primary colors with a pajama-like yellow satin suit covered in elegant yet sparse paisley patterns.

Her matching slacks reached down to the ground, swallowing up her footwear, and she wore her dark hair parted down the middle and styled in waves across her shoulders. 

South African actress Nomzamo Mbatha rocked an eye-catching multipatterned blazer over a busy purple-and-green leopard-print top with white slacks.

Canadian actress and dancer Keltie Knight looked sleek in a white suit with slits up her pants to showcase her beige heels. 

Singer J Balvin kept things cool with a black T-shirt under a gray–blue Louis Vuitton button-up shirt that he left open.

He also had on baggy jeans and blue and white sneakers, and he wore an aquamarine ski cap over his cornrow braids while look like someone straight out of The Matrix with his tiny sunglasses.

Hugh Evans, the CEO of Global Citizen, paired a smart navy blazer with black jeans and a white T-shirt.

The comedy troupe The Try Guys arrived together on the red carpet, with Ned Fulmer wearing a charcoal blazer, while his costar Keith Habersberger wore a more casual charcoal jacket.

Zach Kornfeld wore a black biker-style jacket, while Eugene Lee Yang sported a black sheer shirt.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were co-chairs for the event, and Harry had a featured speaking spot during the event.

He wore a relaxed gray button-down shirt with black jeans and brown leather shoes.

The royal was helping lead the event, which is trying to raise money to get healthcare workers vaccinated across the globe.

In addition to protecting those frontline workers, the Vax Live concert and its organizers are also advocating for world leaders to prioritize equity in vaccine distribution so that it’s not only the wealthiest who have first access. 

Selena looked lovely when she reemerged later in the concert in a figure-hugging black maxi dress with striking lines of white diamonds running down her front and sleeves.

She had her blond hair tied back in a ponytail and wore open hoop earrings.

She added some complementary footwear with pointy black heels covered in white polka dots.

Nomzamo Mbatha was also among the on-stage speakers, and she looked gorgeous in a beige off-the-shoulder bodycon dress while sporting black braids. 

J.Lo added a healthy dash of glamour to the show when she appeared for her performance, which was performed in front of a gorgeous grove backdrop.

She had changed into a pale pink bodysuit covered in long tassels and feathers that swayed with her body.

The If You Had My Love singer also wore dangling jeweled earrings.

Her performance turned into a family reunion of sorts when she invited her mother Guadalupe Rodríguez out on stage and shared a hug with her.

Guadalupe had on a black polka-dotted blouse with black slacks. 

The pop star showed off more of her outstanding physique with additional costume changes.

She emerged in an intriguing yellow jacket with a single sleeve and black straps running across her body decorated with gold studs in the shape of cat heads.

She outfit also had a thick black choker with jeweled leopard studs.

She stripped down to reveal a second bodysuit underneath, which married the bright yellow with purple, pink and green.

She had beige fishnet stockings tucked into her knee-high black boots. 

President Joe Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden both made a virtual appearance to show their support for the event. 

Los Angeles County Health Agency Public Health Director Dr. Barbara Ferrer also shared some words of wisdom with the crowd. 

But the attendees also got to let loose with laughs when Ben Affleck and Jimmy Kimmel made an appearance.

Ben looked dapper in a close-cropped beard and a tie-free black suit, while Jimmy looked like a clown dressed up as Batman’s sidekick Robin, even though Ben forgot to dress up as the Caped Crusader.

The two have long been friends, along with their mutual pal Matt Damon. Years earlier, after Jimmy’s then-girlfriend Sarah Silverman recorded a humorous video, I’m F***ing Matt Damon, on Jimmy’s talk show, he responded with an equally funny clip of celebrities like Robin Williams and Don Cheadle singing I’m F***ing Ben Affleck, We Are The World style.

The concert had something for everyone, and rock fans got a treat when Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder took to the stage.

He wore a simple black button-up shirt over a matching T-shirt with black jeans while rocking out on guitar. 

J Balvin worked up a sweat when it was his time to perform thanks to his black and white patterned coat over a thick yellow cable knit sweater and black pants.

Sean Penn has been on the frontlines, as his organization helped provide Covid-19 tests since the start of the pandemic, so it made sense for him to join the show as well. 

He was seen backstage at the event with his wife Leila George, whom he married last year, supporting him. 

He looked low-key in a navy T-shirt with a black jacket and jeans. 

A bushy-bearded David Letterman got a few laughs out of the crowd while appearing in an olive jacket and a white sweater. 

Entertainment Tonight co-host Kevin Frazier looked cool in a tan suede jacket with a black shirt and matching jeans 

Rock fans had more to look forward to when Foo Fighters took to the stage.

The groups leader and frontman, Dave Grohl, showed off his tattoos in a black T-shirt while playing a gorgeous gold Gibson electric guitar.

The DJ Deleasa, the brother of Kevin Jonas’ wife Danielle Jonas, also offered up some electronic music for the celebration.
