Jennifer Lopez is left stranded in the Hamptons as her dune buggy gets towed away

Jennifer Lopez was left stony-faced on Tuesday when her dune buggy was towed away in the Hamptons, New York, after she failed to abide parking restrictions.

The Love Don’t Cost a Thing hitmaker, 50, parked the vehicle without a permit at Mecox Beach in Bridgehampton.

Mecox Beach operates on issuing full season permits to local residents, the affluent area also has a very small number of daily beach permits in the week but only when space is available. There is no guarantee for availability.

Parking permit don’t cost a thing! Jennifer Lopez was left stony-faced on Tuesday when her dune buggy was towed away in the Hamptons, New York, after she failed to abide parking restrictions

Lopez was followed by her entourage in two more dune buggies and they all allegedly drove straight past attendants, who were checking whether beachgoers had permits, and parked up.

It is not known whether the superstar parked the vehicle without realising or simply ignoring the car park’s regulations.

According to eyewitnesses, the police were called and a tow truck came to take the buggies away after Lopez failed to show any form of a permit.

Finding herself stranded at the beach with no vehicle, J Lo then had to call a friend who came to pick up the megastar in fiancé Alex Rodriguez’s blue Ford Bronco where they headed to the tow yard to pick up their impounded vehicles.

It comes after Lopez and her fiancé A-Rod announced their new joint venture last week – a partnership with telemedicine company Hims & Hers.

The couple said that they decided to partner with the telemedicine company in order to make self-care accessible for underserved communities.

‘We’re always focused on providing for people who grew up the way we did,’ Jennifer told People magazine.

She continued: ‘We feel like now we’re in a different kind of privilege and our kids are growing up differently, but we remember what it was to grow up not being able to afford decent care.’

Appointments start at $39 and includes the cost of medication if necessary, with the goal to be available for all.

According to the outlet, the providers are not only authorised to diagnose illnesses but are also able to fill prescriptions for things like urinary tract infections and asthma to name a few.

Jennifer said: ‘We saw it as a company that was offering a modern approach to health and wellness in a way that was responsible and accessible. It’s so great to be a part of,’ to People.

Alex added that ‘it facilitates things that can be very challenging, whether that’s embarrassing issues, or going to the pharmacy and waiting on-line.’
