She received backlash after flouting Sexy Fish’s dress code and then claiming she was ‘discriminated’ against for wearing sportswear.

And Jess Glynne laughed off controversy by claiming she had ‘made a quick escape’ to Mykonos as she shared a snap by the pool which she shared via Instagram on Saturday.

The singer, 30, looked sensational in a black bandeau bikini that showed off her slender figure as she relaxed in the picturesque location.

‘Made a quick escape!’ Jess Glynne laughed off Sexy Fish backlash as she enjoyed a Mykonos break on Saturday, after the singer was refused entry for flouting dress code

Her fiery locks were styled into loose waves that she wore in a side-swept style, and she shielded her eyes with a chic pair of shades.

Gushing about the trip, Jess wrote: ‘Made a quick escape and I couldn’t be more grateful or blessed .

‘The future has always been uncertain and always will be but now it feels this way more than ever and living in the moment seems even more important. So here is to making impulsive decisions and appreciating every breath we take!’

Her escape to the Spanish island comes after the singer made light of the backlash she received for flouting Sexy Fish’s dress code.

Jess took to Twitter on Thursday to respond a comedian’s sketch imitating her when she arrived at the popular celebrity restaurant in a hoodie in trainers.

She replied with a series of laughing faces and wrote: ‘Woiiiiiiii I’m dead!’

In the spoof video Munya Chawawa played Jess and a waiter at the restaurant.

The interaction was as follows: ‘Good evening madam’, ‘Hiya’. ‘Could I get a name?’

‘Yeah you look like a Tyrone’, Munya said imitating Jess. ‘No I mean your name,’ the waiter said.

‘Oh right, Jess Glynne. I’m a singer. Darling hold my hand’. ‘We do have quite a strict dress code, and that is just a white hoodie’, said the waiter.

The sketch then continued with the pair arguing over what she should have come dressed in.

Jess faced widespread criticism when she made the claims of discrimination after being refused entry for wearing sportswear to the swanky Asian restaurant, where steaks cost up to £105, in Mayfair.

Taking to Instagram, Jess shared a video in which she backtracked for her use of the ‘wrong word’ yet defiantly maintained that the staff were rude and insisted she was merely aiming to help the establishment ‘better itself’.

Jess said: ‘I feel I need to come on here and pull up on what I posted yesterday, I used the wrong word, discrimination, it wasn’t the right word, it was wrong but I wanna highlight the reason I posted what I did.

‘Basically all I wanted to say is it was very rude and disrespectful the way the Sexy Fish staff were towards me and my friend yesterday and I don’t believe anybody should be spoken to like that and that’s what I wanted to highlight.

‘I’m so understanding of dress code and etiquette and I 100% understand – listen I have been turned away from numerous places in my life, that’s not a thing, that doesn’t bother me.

‘What I was trying to highlight was for them so they can better themselves, there’s ways of dealing with human beings and being respectful and having manners. Anyway let me know when it’s safe to come back out.’

Response: Jess has since backtracked on claims she was 'discriminated against' when she was turned away from Sexy Fish restaurant

She added a caption on the clip reading: ‘Hi… Just want you guys to understand that I posted a picture of my attire as I was very aware of what I was wearing and it wasn’t about the dress code…’

After her initial post, in which Jess shared a selfie in her outfit, critics swiftly branded her ‘privileged and entitled’ for her chagrin.

Fans pointed out that Sexy Fish clearly lists on its website: ‘We request that guests do not wear sportswear, beachwear. ripped jeans, flip flops, sliders or workout trainers (smarter, fashion trainers may be permitted)’.
