Jim Edmonds claims estranged wife Meghan King Edmonds took their three kids to California

Jim Edmonds revealed via social media Saturday he is awaiting his Covid-19 test results at the hospital.

And meanwhile, the former baseball player claims his estranged wife Meghan King Edmonds took their three children to Los Angeles from Missouri without letting him know, according to US Weekly.

The trip occurred in mid-March with Meghan, 35, taking their kids daughter Aspen, three, and twin sons Hayes and Hart, 21 months old, which left the former athlete fuming, 49, the outlet’s source revealed.

‘Meghan took the kids to California unbeknownst to Jim. He can’t see his kid and he’s not going to travel,’ the insider said.

Adding: ‘She can’t do that without talking to him first and Jim  is saying that this was not discussed with him before she did it.’ 

However, a rep told the outlet: ‘Meghan and Jim were going to exchange custody on Monday the 16th.’

Adding: ‘The Monday prior to the trip, Meghan told “Jim she could take the kids on the 13th if he wanted her to.’

They added that the trip was legally approved and signed off by the guardian ad litem.

The rep continued: ‘He said yes and he went to Nashville with his daughter and live-in girlfriend and partied there for several days.’ 

She moved her trip from the 16th to the 14th with Jim handing the kids over on the 13th. 

Her rep added that he had told her Aspen was sick so ‘Meghan too her to the doctor and the child didn’t have a fever and had a clean bill of health’ to travel.

‘Meghan would never put the children in harm’s way,’ the rep added.

However, Jim’s rep claimed otherwise; he told the outlet: ‘I’m not sure what world Meghan is living in, but Jim had absolutely no idea she was taking the children, one of which had a fever, on a plane to Los Angeles.’

With the rep adding: ‘Jim never, ever would have agreed to that. And if a judge signed off on this, Jim would sure like to see a copy of that order.’ 

Jim revealed on Saturday that he is awaiting his results for the Covid-19 test results at the hospital.

He said he’thought he was tough enough’ to get through the virus by himself at home, but evidently was not.

‘Held off as long as I could. I thought I was tough enough to get through,’ he shared on Instagram. 

‘This virus is no joke #gethealthy;’Jim was seen wearing a mask while lying in a hospital bed.

The former professional baseball player continued to update his fans through the process.

‘Waiting on tests now,’ he began. ‘Ps I didn’t know the swab could go that far in someone’s nose.’

‘No confirmation on the virus yet. Just waiting to find out if I have been infected or just super sick,’ he later wrote.

‘Not taking any chances because it is so hard to get tested by the rules of the CDC.’ The CDC stands for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. 

It is not known how long Jim will have to wait to receive his test results.

With Jim out of action, his estranged ex, Meghan King Edmonds, 35, currently has custody of their three children. 

Meghan and Jim tied the knot in her native St. Louis on October 24, 2014; he filed for divorce on October 25, 2019, the day after their fifth anniversary. 

Meghan recently took to her blog to share how she was dealing with her split, revealing some days she was only hanging on by a thread.

‘Trauma affects all of us at some point in time but for others, it all seems to bear down at once,’ she wrote in the blog post, adding that she’s ‘learned to cope with’ what she calls ‘Emotional Releases.’
