Jimmy Bartel and Lauren Mand’s relationship has been going from strength-to-strength since they went public last year.
And it seems the blonde, 31, wants to develop her bond with the retired AFL star’s children – Aston, four, and Henley, one – who he shares with Nadia Bartel.
On Thursday, Lauren posted a photo of the boys’ building a fort out of pillows on her Instagram story.

The image showed they used cushions for walls and a blanket as the roof, and one of Jimmy’s sons poking their arm out of a small gap to get an extra pillow for inside.
Their ‘survival games’ set-up also included a stuffed monkey as their security guard, and plastic toy food as ‘essential groceries’.
In another post, Lauren shared a photo that gave a glimpse into the boys’ room, including walker and two tubs of toys.

She wrote on the post: ‘Indoor games! Used to love indoor mats still the best,’ hinting to fans she was having a great time playing with her boyfriend’s sons.
On Friday, Lauren enjoyed a delicious breakfast of French toast with berries with her beau – tagging Jimmy in the photo and writing in the caption: ‘one metre away please.’

The former couple married in February 2014 in a lavish ceremony on the Bellarine Peninsula.
