Lady Gaga curating all-star TV fundraiser with hosts Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert in fight against COVID-19

NBC, ABC and CBS are teaming up to broadcast a historic fundraiser in the fight against COVID-19.

Late night talk show hosts Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert will come together to host the show which is being curated by Lady Gaga.

One World: Together at Home will air Saturday April 18 at 8pm ET/PT and is being produced in partnership with Global Citizen and the World Health Organization.

TV special: Lady Gaga is curating performers for a historic global broadcast to raise funds in the fight against COVID-19

The Hollywood Reporter reports that the TV special will celebrate community health care workers and support the WHO’s global fight to end COVID-19.

The broadcast will feature appearances by Alanis Morissette, Andrea Bocelli, Billie Eilish, Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong, Burna Boy, Chris Martin, David Beckham, Eddie Vedder, Elton John, FINNEAS, Idris and Sabrina Elba, J Balvin, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Kerry Washington, Lang Lang, Lizzo, Maluma, Paul McCartney, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Shah Rukh Khan and Stevie Wonder. 

The show will aim to educate viewers on the dangers of the highly contagious coronavirus which has triggered a pandemic putting cities across the globe into lockdown.

THR writes that the special will ‘educate and inform viewers about COVID-19 risks, prevention and response and feature cameos from the worlds of music and arts, sports and comedic sketches. 

‘Interviews with experts from the WHO as well as stories from healthcare workers on the front lines of the global pandemic will also be featured.’

There will be performances from some of the biggest names in music and multi-million dollar pledges to the WHO’s Solidarity Response Fund.
