Joe Wicks nurses baby son Marley back to sleep after youngster wakes him at 3am… hours before launching his latest live P.E class
The difficulties faced by every parent were realised in the early hours of Tuesday morning as Joe Wicks was awoken by his baby son, Marley.
The self-styled Body Coach was given a rude awakening by the adorable five-month old, the younger of his two children with wife Rosie, at 3am – just hours before launching his latest YouTube gym class.
Taking to Instagram, Joe, 33, admitted he had managed to get a decent stretch of sleep after turning in at a reasonable time on Monday evening, but his son’s restlessness resulted in an unexpectedly early start.

Addressing followers as Marley lay alongside him, he said: ‘I was in bed at 9am tonight and look who has decided to wake up and have a party.’
Turning to his son, he added: ‘Who wants a party?’
Fortunately for the fitness guru, Marley – who was born prematurely in December – appeared to be in a playful mood, but things soon turned sour as the youngster began to cry.

Almost an hour after sharing his first update, Joe revealed he was finally able to get Marley off to sleep by sharing snap of his slumbering son, with the accompanying caption: ‘Flaked.’
By 9am Joe was back on YouTube with model wife Rosie, who returned to assist him with his hugely popular live workouts.
The personal trainer initially underwent minor surgery for his injured hand in late March after falling from his bike, just days after launching his hugely popular exercise lessons.
But he was forced to go back to hospital at the weekend after experiencing agonising pain, resulting in Rosie stepping in at the 11th hour to lead his classes.

Joe recently revealed he has raised £200,000 for the National Health Service through his daily workouts, and aimed to double that figure before lockdown came to an end.
He also admitted this week’s workouts would not have gone ahead were it not for his wife’s help.
Speaking shortly before his live workout on Monday’s edition of Lorraine, he explained: ‘I broke my wrist, so I spent the weekend in hospital with morphine an codeine. I said I needed help from Rosie and so she’s here.’
Reflecting on her decision to help Joe while he recovers from his injury, Rosie insisted he would still be playing an active part in the online class.
She said: ‘I want to make it clear I’m not taking his place, I’m demonstrating exercises. He’s going to be taking the class and I’m just doing whatever he tells me to do.’
