Justin Bieber’s comeback tour set to begin in June postponed again and pushed back to 2022
Like many other major musical artists and touring performers, Justin Bieber has postponed his upcoming tour – again.
The Justin Bieber World Tour was slated to begin on June 2 at Pechanga Arena in San Diego, make it way around the United States and Canada, and conclude on August 15 at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento.
All of the dates for the pop superstar’s so-called comeback tour have been pushed back to 2022, with an official announcement expected to come soon from Team Bieber.

The delay in announcing new dates is likely ‘due to challenges in rescheduling the dates; a plethora of COVID-postponed tours have meant that most major venues are almost fully booked well into 2022,’ according to Variety.
The cancellations don’t comes as a surprise for many, considering all of Bieber’s concerts were slated to be held in indoor arenas, which have fallen under more stringent restrictions in the wake of the coronavirus crisis.
Plus, COVID-19 still poses a danger to citizens and the vaccine rollout had been going slower that anticipated

Back in early 2020, Bieber was gearing up to hit the road in support of his fifth studio album Changes, beginning with a show on May 14 in Seattle, Washington at CenturyLink Field.
The initial leg of The Changes Tour was to take him around parts of the United States and Canada and conclude on September 26, 2020 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
But by the time COVID-19 was deemed a pandemic in mid-March 2020, live shows and tours were being cancelled, including Bieber’s.

Team Bieber would go on to postpone the tour to 2021, and reschedule many of those stadium shows to indoor arenas.
‘Looking forward to seeing you all when it is safe,’ he wrote when announcing his new world tour dates on social media at the time.
But the singer and his team proved to be out to be overly optimistic that the U.S. would be more advanced in tempering COVID-19 by the time of the rescheduled dates.
And as a result, those upcoming summer dates in North America have subsequently been moved to 2022.

When Bieber does in fact safely hit the road on go on tour, he will have two new studio albums to draw from: Changes and, most recently, Justice, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart last month.
It skyrocketed to the top with the help of his latest smash hit song Peaches, that debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Released March 19, Justice has also spawned two more moderately successful singles: Anyone and Hold On.
Bieber was last on a full-fledged tour when he hit the road in support of his fourth studio album, Purpose, in 2016-17.
