She returned to social media on Tuesday for the first time since announcing the breakup of her marriage.
And after sharing a photo of herself crying sparkly tears, Kacey Musgraves posted to Instagram again to tell her fans about how she’d been visited by a fawn at her rural home and how it had helped her deal with her sadness.
‘Still not over this and never will be. It made this year hurt a little less for just a few,’ the country music singer, 31, wrote alongside a montage of cute photos.

She then followed with another post in which she shared several new and upbeat selfies.
She strikes several poses in full glam makeup and wearing a Gucci dress.
Musgraves and fellow country music singer Ruston Kelly broke the news July 3 that they were divorcing after three years of marriage.

The couple first met in 2016 on a songwriting ‘date’ and started dating romantically soon after.
They got engaged in December 2016 and married in Tennessee in October 2017.
On Tuesday, Kacey shared an image of herself sitting with her knees up and her head turned slightly to one side.
The photo was edited to make it appear that she was wearing a silver sequin two-piece outfit with glittery tears running down her cheeks.
A sparkly pair of butterfly wings were ‘attached’ to her back in a nod to her song Butterflies from her 2018 Golden Hour album, which she has said describes her courtship with Kelly.

In announcing their separation, Musgraves and Kelly said it had been a ‘painful decision.’
‘We believe that we were put into each other’s lives for a divine reason and have both changed each other infinitely for the better. The love we have for each other goes far beyond the relationship we’ve shared as husband and wife. It’s a soul connection that can never be erased, they said in a joint statement.
‘We’ve made this painful decision together — a healthy decision that comes after a very long period of trying the best we can. It simply just didn’t work. Though we are parting ways in marriage, we will remain true friends for the rest of our lives.’
The couple concluded: ‘We hold no blame, anger, or contempt for each other and we ask for privacy and positive wishes for us both as we learn how to navigate through this.’
