Kaitlynn Carter sheds light on life after whirlwind romance with Miley Cyrus: ‘My mind is just swirling’
She enjoyed a whirlwind romance with Miley Cyrus last year.
Now Kaitlynn Carter has shed light on how her life changed following the end of their relationship.
Kaitlynn, 31, reflected on her post-Miley life in an Instagram Live interview with Whitney Port on Thursday.

Both Kaitlynn and Miley were newly single at the time they began dating each other, and their relationship captured the attention of just about everybody.
When the relationship ended just a few months later, Kaitlynn initially believed life would go back to normal.
That ended up not being the case.
‘What happened to me, basically just after Miley and I went our separate ways, I thought, “OK, my life’s just kinda going back to the way it normally was for me when I’m on my own.”‘

‘I had no expectations that anyone would give a sh*t about me by myself. I had no plan in place. I didn’t think about anything. For example, I was dealing with a lot emotionally at that time, obviously, and I really wasn’t going out anywhere. I was just staying home.’
After they separated, Kaitlynn was surprised to find she was getting photographed on her own.
‘I just didn’t anticipate anything like this happening. I’m used to it when I’m, like, with Brody [Jenner] or when I was with her, but never when I’m on my own. My mind is just swirling,’ she explained.

At the time the women got together, they both had just separated from their husbands – Miley from Liam Hemsworth, and Kaitlynn from Brody Jenner.
The pair were inseparable, and Kaitlyn even reportedly moved into Miley’s place, just weeks after getting together, according to People.
Alas, the relationship was not meant to be – a month after getting together, the women split in September 2019.

Around the time of their separation, a source close to the situation told ET Online: ‘Miley and Kaitlynn are no longer together romantically.
‘They have been there for each other through tough times recently but decided it’s best to be friends.’
