Karl Stefanovic’s wife Jasmine Yarbrough gushes over their newborn daughter Harper May in picture

They are doting parent to their newborn daughter, Harper May. 

And Karl Stefanovic’s wife Jasmine Yarbrough, 36, couldn’t resist gushing about their bundle of joy – who she welcomed last month – as she uploaded a sweet image to Instagram on Wednesday morning. 

The youngster was seen wrapped in a pastel pink swaddle as she lay sound asleep on the lap of Jasmine’s father Bob Yarbrough. 

‘Loving my Poppy cuddles,’ the shoe designer captioned the sweet picture as she enjoyed some quality time with her dad and daughter. 

As well as being doted on by her parents and grandfather, little Harper has also been bonding with her grandmother, Cheryl.  

Shortly after the birth of Harper, Karl let slip on the Today show that Jasmine’s mother Cheryl is living with them in their $7.3million waterfront mansion on Sydney’s lower north shore. 

He joked on air on Monday, May 18: ‘My mother-in-law is still living with me… She has got to go back home at some point!’

Karl’s made the joke during a conversation with Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk about the state’s border closures. 

Cheryl calls Queensland home, but travelled down to Sydney to be close to Jasmine before she gave birth.

After joking about his mother-in-law being stuck in NSW, Karl did clarify she’d been a tremendous help to both him and Jasmine with their newborn. ‘She’s a great help. I love her,’ he added.

The besotted couple welcomed the baby girl on May 1 at Sydney’s North Shore Private Hospital.

In a statement to the Today show at the time, Karl said: ‘Harper and Jasmine are doing well and Dad had a great night’s sleep.

He added: ‘I am in awe. Harper is absolutely perfect.’ 

It’s the first child for the couple, while Karl has three children from his previous marriage to Cassandra Thorburn, sons Jackson, 20, and River, 12, and daughter Ava, 15.
