But the 40-year-old actress took a well deserved break from her isolation on Thursday, when she stepped out with boyfriend Danny Fujikawa and her two sons, Ryder, 16, and Bingham, eight, for a leisurely stroll in their Los Angeles neighborhood.
The Almost famous star suited up in all black for her family oriented outing, while tying her golden tresses up into a messy pony and accessorizing with a pair of aviator shades.
