Kate Langbroek and her family have been in lockdown in Bologna, Italy, for a month because of the coronavirus pandemic.

‘I haven’t posted our meals for a while, but we’ve been eating!’ Kate wrote on Instagram, alongside five photos of various meals.

One photo showed a Japanese meal with maki sushi rolls and a stir fry, while another was an Indian dinner with curry, papadums and rice.

Kate and her family also embraced the local cuisine with a meal of spaghetti and garlic bread, and also had a classic roast chicken dinner complete with mashed potatoes, gravy and steamed vegetables.

Clearly missing home, one photo showed a tray of home-baked Anzac biscuits.

Kate, her husband, Peter Allen Lewis, and their children, Lewis, Sunday, Artie and Jan, have been in lockdown in their Bologna apartment since last month.

But it’s not just the parents who do the cooking as their eldest son, Lewis, 16, has also showed off his culinary prowess in the kitchen.

Lewis recently recreated the chilli garlic chicken stir fry dish from Taiwanese restaurant franchise Din Tai Fung.

Last week, Kate revealed two of her children had cried at the dinner table because of the coronavirus lockdown and long days at home.
