Kate Moss admits she made boyfriend Nikolai Von Bismarck buy a ring for her wedding finger

Kate Moss admits she made boyfriend Nikolai Von Bismarck buy a ring for her wedding finger because it felt ’empty’ after her divorce from Jamie Hince

Kate Moss made her boyfriend buy her a ring because her finger felt ’empty’ after her divorce.

The 46-year-old supermodel insisted the vintage emerald and diamond piece she wears every day on the third finger of her left hand isn’t a sign she’s getting married.

Kate is in a five-year relationship with Nikolai Von Bismarck – and she said she simply forced him to buy her a gift.

She said: 'I think after you've been married, that finger feels a bit empty. It was an "I'm going out with you, and I have a very empty finger, so give me a ring" kind of present' (pictured in 2018)

The mother-of-one who was previously married to Jamie Hince, said: ‘Oh, no, I’m not engaged. It’s more like, I’m in a relationship, I’m committed.

She told Telegraph Luxury magazine: ‘I think after you’ve been married, that finger feels a bit empty. It was an “I’m going out with you, and I have a very empty finger, so give me a ring” kind of present.’

While Kate loves jewellery, she admitted it isn’t a passion her partner shares, though he’s happy to shop with her.

Another of the British beauty’s most cherished pieces of jewellery is the diamond eternity ring her ex-boyfriend Jefferson Hack presented her with after she gave birth to their daughter Lila, now 18.

She told the publication: ‘When I gave birth to Lila, Jefferson bought me a diamond eternity ring, which is gorgeous. I’ll give it to her one day.

Her words come after Lila recently made her runway debut where she appeared a natural fit for the catwalk as she strutted her stuff at Miu Miu’s virtual event.

Kate first hit the runway at the same age as her mini-me in 1992, after being scouted as a 14-year-old in 1988 at JFK Airport in New York.

The fashion icon first walked for Dolce & Gabbana in their spring show, in a blue brocade suit teamed with a matching wide-brimmed hat.

The Vogue coverstar became a stalwart on the runway during the nineties and regularly appeared for big name designers including Prada, Tommy Hilfiger and Stella McCartney.

Fashionistas are reportedly suggesting that Kate is masterminding her daughter’s style and her fledgling career, according to the Mail On Sunday.

Industry sources reported that Kate’s priorities have shifted from her own career to launching her only daughter onto the fashion scene.

Lila is the principal client at the Kate Moss Agency, which also boasts singer Rita Ora and Game Of Thrones actress Gwendoline Christie.
