Sharing the family snap with her fans via Instagram, the comedian, 37, and her girl, 11, posed in front of a mirror while pouting.

Like mother, like daughter: Katherine Ryan shared a rare glimpse of her daughter Violet, 11, as they posed for a sweet family snap that she shared via Instagram on Tuesday

Katherine completed her look by donning a biker jacket over a grey hoodie, while she kept her personal items in a black tote bag.

Violet, Katherine’s daughter from a previous relationship, followed in her mother’s fashion footsteps as she paired a padded jacket with grey jogging bottoms.

The comedian pulled her blonde locks back into a tight bun and wore a pair of chic shades, while Violet let her brunette locks fall in loose waves.

Katherine is fiercely private of her personal life and she covered Violet’s face with a lips emoji, it is not known who the Your Face Or Mine? host shares her daughter with.

In 2019, Katherine opened up about the close relationship she has with her daughter, who she calls her best friend, with The Mirror.

She said of Violet: ‘My daughter Violet and I have a unique relationship. I really like her and love her, and it’s special that I’ve been alone with her for a long time, so we have a little bit of a sisterly relationship – which I know can be dangerous when she gets older, but I’m risking it.

‘We live in a democracy. I always say, we’re not a mum and a 10-year-old. We’re two 10-year-olds, but one of us has a credit card and a driving licence. We’re unstoppable.’

In November last year, Katherine said traditional white weddings are ‘gross’ and believes men aren’t ready to get married ‘until they’re divorced.’

The Netflix star had a civil partnership with childhood sweetheart Bobby Kootstra (right) last December, in a low-key ceremony in Denmark after the pair rekindled their romance.

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline at the time, she told how a big star-studded wedding was never on the cards.

She said: ‘I don’t want a big occasion because of the history of it and the fact women used to belong to their fathers and then belong to their husbands and put on a white dress because they’re virgins, I mean I think it’s gross and I don’t want to do it.

‘I appreciate that other people like to have a party but again I get to put on beautiful dresses and not have to make an invite list and arrange seating and hire a DJ, I just don’t want to do those things at all.’

Katherine reconnected with Bobby after 20-years when the pair agreed to have a one-night stand. Deep-down, the comedian always knew she would end up with her ex, even keeping love letters he sent her in their teens.

And she believes their relationship has only been made stronger by the fact Bobby was previously married.

Katherine explains: ‘I loved him so much – I still have all of our letters that we wrote to each other when we were 15/16 and I had them made into a blanket for our one-year anniversary because I’m such a nerd.

‘But then I was glad that we weren’t together for 20 years as well because I went off and I did all of these interesting things and he went off and did all these interesting things.

‘I don’t think most men are really ready to be married until they’ve been divorced. I never really wanted to get married, it’s when I became totally satisfied with the idea of being alone that he magically walked into my life.

‘I did everything I could not to marry him. I thought, this is not my plan but when it’s meant to be it’s just so easy and I wish I had known that all along.’
