Katie Holmes is keeping up with her quarantine-era hobby.
The 42-year-old was spotted makeup-free in New York City heading into the art studio to channel her creativity for a day painting on Thursday.
Since lockdown began, Katie and her 14-year-old daughter Suri have been picking up new hobbies to stay busy while the country remains largely shut down.

Katie certainly dressed the part of artist in a pair of khaki pants that looked similar to the loose fitting type worn by painters.
A lover of fashion, the former Dawson’s Creek star, couldn’t just wear plain old painters pants so she paired the slacks with a matching khaki blazer over a simple white button-up.
The actress topped the look off with a leather trench and a pair of white trainers and she pulled her espresso colored hair off her face into a high top knot.
Due to the raging coronavirus pandemic, Katie made sure to remember her disposable facemask as she took to the streets of Manhattan.

To live for a moment in time without the pressure of results and instead appreciate the natural rhythms of mother and daughter was the most precious gift.’
Holmes has also been keeping busy with her new love, 33-year-old chef Emilio Vitolo Jr.

She and her restaurateur boyfriend seem to be getting more serious these days and even spent Christmas Eve together and have gone Instagram official.
The duo was seen walking arm-in-arm through Washington Square Park, where they stopped to take pictures of a Christmas tree, and later enjoyed dinner at French restaurant Claudette on Fifth Avenue.
On December 18, Holmes‘s birthday, Emilio uploaded an adorable black-and-white photo of the new couple laughing with one another to Instagram.

Since the couple got together in 2020, the Dawson’s Creek star has been a frequent guest at her chef-boyfriend’s popular, family owned, Italian restaurant, Emilio’s Ballato.
Katie and Emilio reportedly met for the first time last year, though it wasn’t until September that they launched their romance.
