Katie Holmes was notably alone on Sunday as she made her latest appearance without boyfriend Emilio Vitolo, Jr in New York City.
The actress, who has not been seen with the chef for more than a month, was dressed down in a black bomber jacket and matching jeans as she ventured out for supplies on daughter Suri’s 15th birthday.
Katie, 42, added to her casual look with a pair of white running shoes, while a pale blue top gave an otherwise subdued colour scheme an added splash of vibrancy.

With a protective face covering partially concealing her instantly recognisable features, the former Dawson’s Creek star easily blended in with fellow New Yorkers as she returned to the home she shares with her daughter.
The teenager – Katie’s only child from her six year marriage to Tom Cruise – was celebrating her birthday after turning 15 on April 18th.
Katie was first romantically linked to New York based chef Emilio in September, when they were spotted having drinks and holding hands at a SoHo restaurant. He last posted a photo of the actress to Instagram on March 9.

Katie and Emilio made their relationship Instagram official with a post shared on her 42nd birthday in December 2020, and the two were frequently spotted spending together over the course of the winter.
The actress was last seen with her boyfriend early last month, when they stepped out for a shared dinner in Manhattan.
Around the same time, Emilio shared a photo to his Instagram showing Katie taking a photograph of an out-of-frame subject.
The actress has not appeared on the chef’s account or been seen with him in public since then.
