‘My kids are in good hands’: Katie Price has praised her former husbands Kieran Hayler (L in 2017) and Peter Andre (R in 2004) for looking after their kids amid the coronavirus lockdown

Four of the TV star’s children have been living with their respective fathers, while the media personality self-isolates with son Harvey, 17, who falls within the high risk category of those more vulnerable to COVID-19.

On maintaining healthy co-parenting relationships with her former partners, Katie said: ‘I regularly FaceTime the kids. I can’t wait to see them and to give them a big hug – this has been really hard. Kieran and Peter are great dads – I know the children are in safe hands.’

The CBB star was married to presenter Peter, who shares Amelia, six, and Theodore, three, with wife Emily, 30, from September 2005 until May 2009.

She later tied the knot to Kieran in January 2013, before the pair parted ways in May 2018.

The former couple are still legally married, with Kieran recently revealing their divorce is just ‘weeks away’ after popping the question to girlfriend Michelle Penticost.

Katie split from Harvey’s father Dwight Yorke by the time she gave birth to Harvey in May 2002, with the star since criticising the sportsman for his treatment of their son, who has Prader-Willi syndrome and is partially blind.

Earlier this year, the mother-of-five was admitted to The Priory – an experience she candidly documented for a one-off special of her TV series My Crazy Life.

On moving on from ‘darker and lonelier’ times – which saw her being declared bankrupt and dealing with her mother Amy’s terminal illness – Katie told The Sun: ‘I lost who I was, I didn’t know who or where I was headed anymore – I wanted to give up.

‘This special is probably the most personal thing I have ever done – the final chapter of a nightmare that is now over and the start of a whole new world and life for me.’

The episode will see the entrepreneur in the run up to her breakdown as she tries to cope with bankruptcy and her split from on-off fiancé Kris Boyson.

Katie last visited The Priory in September 2018 and spent 28 days in the facility after her family urged her to seek help following wild partying antics in Mallorca.

She broke down after the intervention and admitted she needed help to get over her chaotic behaviour, which she blamed on her PTSD.

In November 2019, the Brighton native was declared bankrupt at a court after facing further legal action over her spiralling debts, said to be worth £800,000.

Katie had been pursued by creditors and the taxman after revealing she has spent her entire £45million fortune.
