Katie Price puts on an amorous display with boyfriend Carl Woods on their last night in The Maldives

Katie Price needed a helping hand from her boyfriend Carl Woods as they headed out for dinner on their last night in The Maldives on Monday.

The model, 42, needed a helping hand exiting the golf buggy due to her broken feet, with her hunky beau, 31, carrying her across the sand for their last meal.

It comes following reports that Katie is preparing for a crucial scan when she returns to the UK to see whether she’ll walk again after breaking both her feet in a freak accident while on holiday in Turkey in July.

Katie cut a laid-back figure in a fuchsia pink vest and grey tracksuit bottoms as Carl carried her to dinner just hours before they are set to fly home to the UK.

The TV personality was helped across the sand by her beau as she flaunted her deep holiday tan.

The couple have been openly documenting their romantic beach break on social media, and are set to return home just in time for the UK’s month-long lockdown.

It comes amid claims that Katie will have a crucial scan on her broken feet to see if they have healed, nearly four months after being left unable to walk by a freak accident.

The star will visit doctors to see if her feet have healed enough that she can walk unaided after being confined to a wheelchair since her accident.

A source told The Sun that Katie is still in ‘a lot of pain’ since her accident but her feet have significantly healed in recent weeks.

They said: ‘One foot has been slower to heal than the other and she’s still in a lot of pain.  

‘But this scan will tell her when she can walk again, and how much pain she’ll be in.

‘She’ll never be pain-free, she will find walking painful for the rest of her life, but she’s remaining positive and is really excited to find out when she’ll be able to walk on her own again.’

Last week Katie stunned fans by taking her first steps since her horrific accident, in footage filmed by a fellow guest at her resort in The Maldives.

Katie Price’s representative told MailOnline: ‘Katie is indeed on the mend, however she still has a long way to go in her recovery.

‘This time away has done Katie the world of good and is making wonderful progress.’ 

On October 12th, Katie confirmed in a YouTube video doctors had told her it would be ’18 months’ until she’d be back walking properly. 

The reality star, who has been in a wheelchair since July, is understood to have used her getaway in the Maldives to plan her comeback for 2021.

According to a recent report, she is expected to ‘get engaged to boyfriend Carl Woods by the end of the year’ after ‘breaking her feet and ankles has made her to take stock of what matters.’ 

The mother-of-five has reportedly ‘made clear’ to Carl that ‘she wants to build a new life with him and the kids’ as she finalises her divorce from Kieran Hayler.  

According to The Sun, Katie told a friend: ‘I’ve got big plans. I want to kick the a*** out of this year and then make next year one to remember.’ 

A friend told the publication: ‘Marrying Carl is a big part of her plans,’ and the pair are also believed to have business ideas for modelling, fitness and TV, according to the source.
