Kim Kardashian shares a throwback snap with BFF Allison Statter from childhood trip to grandma MJ’s

They’ve been friends for life, and consider each other family.

And Kim Kardashian again shared a nostalgic picture with her best friend Allison Statter on Saturday, taken when the girls were kids.

In the duo of throwback snaps, Kim, now 39, is in a white patterned short and pants set, with a matching white hair tie keeping her very high ponytail in place.

The reality superstar also wears white socks and trainers in the pictures.

As for Allison, now 40, she rocks a perfect late 80s look, with hot pink shorts and a sideways ponytail.  

The girls have their arms around each other in the first image, with Statter’s hand planted on her hip as she gives ‘tude to the camera. 

And in the second photograph, the kids pose in front of a beach vista with Kim’s grandmother MJ, or Mary Jo Campbell – Kris Jenner’s mom who recently celebrated her 86th birthday.

‘My best friend @allisonstatter and I in San Diego. We must have been 7 years old and we would go stay with my grandma for a weekend,’ Kim reminisced in the caption. 

And it was far from the first time Kim has taken a walk down memory lane on Instagram with photos featuring Statter, whom she has known since her elementary school days. 

In April, as the coronavirus pandemic and ensuing was first gaining full national and world attention, Kardashian was focused on the people she cares for most – and that included Allison and her mother, Kim’s ‘aunt’ Shelli Azoff.

And for Statter’s 40th birthday in January, Kim celebrated with a black and white throwback photo post, which showed the girls on a trip they took together to Paris in the mid-90s.

Though Kim has managed to maintain many of her friendships from her childhood and high school years, her relationship with Allison goes back to their early childhoods.   

Allison’s mother Shelli is good friends with Kim’s mother Kris Jenner, and she earned the honorific ‘aunt’ despite not being related.

Shelli is married to the high-powered music executive Irving Azoff, who currently runs a partnership with The Madison Square Garden Company and was previously the CEO of Ticketmaster.

Statter is among the very few Instagram accounts that Kim follows – the KKW beauty mogul follows only 75 accounts, while she is followed herself by an astounding 184 million Instagram users.
