Kristen Bell clarifies that her daughter, five, only wears diapers at NIGHT after uproar: ‘Her tiny bladder isn’t up for the 10 hr challenge yet’

Kristen Bell shared on that her daughter, aged five, is still in diapers when she spoke on Wednesday with Maya Rudolph and Casey Wilson during her show Momsplaining.

Fans were shocked as children usually stop wearing diapers at age three.

But the next day the Frozen star clarified her comments when she took to Twitter. ‘My daughter doesn’t wear diapers during the day, just at night cuz her tiny bladder isn’t up for the 10 hr challenge yet,’ said the actress noting that people were looking ‘sensation’ over her reveal.

The star also seemed to think everyone had overreacted.

‘I also don’t think its humiliating if ur kid wears diapers late,’ said the Veronica Mars standout.

‘Everyone is different. My 5yr old wouldn’t be embarrassed even if she was in diapers during the day!

‘She’s confident & goofy & doesn’t see anything about her beautiful unique self something to apologize for.’

The blonde, who is wed to comedian Dax Shepard, also has daughter Lincoln, aged seven.

Her children have not been seen as Kristen and Dax do not want them photographed for the public.

The Good Place star also said in her Wednesday interview that ‘every kid is so different.’

It turns out Kristen had very different potty-training experiences with each of her girls.

Lincoln instantly took to the toilet, transitioning away from diapers at just 21-months.

‘My oldest daughter at 21 months, we merely suggested that she us the toilet in the other room and [she] never wore another diaper beyond that,’ the Veronica Mars star said.

‘We were lying in bed giggling about this, my husband [Dax] and I, like, “Why does everyone make a big deal out of this potty training? It’s so easy. Just tell the kid to use the toilet.”‘

But it was a totally different story with Delta.

‘Currently, my youngest is five-and-a-half, still in diapers,’ Kristen revealed.

Rudolph, who is 47 and has four kids, replied, ‘It’s real relative, isn’t it?’

And the actress agreed, saying: ‘Yes, because every kid is so different.’

Kristen recently admitted she’s been having a bit of trouble with the homeschooling part of quarantine, bluntly telling Ellen last week: ‘I gave up.’

‘I attempted to give her some math problems,’ explained the Michigan native.

‘And she answered the first and second one, and then she got real sassy and what she did for the rest of them was in the answer grid she just wrote, No, No, No, No [to each question]’.
