Kumail Nanjiani covers up his chiseled frame in a hoodie while leaving an afternoon workout session in Los Angeles

After showing off his impressive physique after a workout session on Monday, Kumail Nanjiani covered up his biceps on Tuesday.

The 43-year-old actor was spotted leaving a Los Angeles gym following an afternoon workout session.

The Eternals star also stayed safe by continuing to wear a face mask amid the COVID-19 pandemic, even as conditions improve in Los Angeles.

Nanjiani was spotted wearing a grey hoodie with a light blue paw print and ‘Adopt’ on his chest, while he left the gym.

He was also wearing green shorts and a light blue medical face mask covering his mouth and nose amid COVID-19.

He completed his workout look with grey and red sneakers while carrying a water bottle out of the gym.

The workout session comes just weeks after Nanjiani was announced as one of the several new cast members of the new Star Wars TV series focusing on Obi-Wan Kenobi.

While nothing is known about his character, Nanjiani joins Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie. 

Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen are also reprising their roles from the Star Wars prequel trilogy as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, respectively.

Aside from his exciting new role in Obi-Wan Kenobi, Nanjiani will make his debut in another popular Disney franchise, the Marvel Cinematic Universe. 

The Big Sick star will portray Ningo in Marvel Studios’ Eternals, which is slated to hit theaters on November 2.

He is part of a star-studded cast in Eternals including Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Gemma Chan, Kit Harrington and Richard Madden, from Oscar-nominated director Chloe Zhao (Nomadland).

Nanjiani started his career as a comedian and an actor before his breakthrough 2018 film The Big Sick, which earned him and his wife and co-writer Emily V. Gordon an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay.

They both went on to co-created the Apple TV Plus series Little America, along with Lee Eisenberg, which debuted in January 2020.

Apple TV Plus already renewed the show for a second season, though that was before the COVID-19 pandemic and it’s unclear when filming may start on Season 2.
