Kyle and Jackie O show producer FAINTS live on air

Working in live TV or radio can sometimes come with a few unexpected surprises. 

But Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson were left completely shocked on Friday when one of their producers seemingly fainted while they were live on air. 

While presenting their radio program The Kyle and Jackie O Show, their producer, Tom, entered the room to spin the birthday wheel for a listener.       

Next minute, Tom began breathing heavily and rubbing his head before he collapsed unconscious on the ground with a bleeding nose. 

A terrified Jackie rushed over to help him shouting: ‘Oh no, Tom’s fainted’. 

Kyle then let the listeners know what was going on, saying: ‘Tom’s collapsed he’s had a headache for a week, hang on a second.’ 

The radio presenters rushed to Tom’s aid as Jackie revealed that they were cutting to a commercial break while they sorted out the situation. 

But when they were least expecting it, Tom jumped up, revealing that it was all a prank and that he was completely fine.

‘Oh my god, I nearly had a heart attack myself, you little a**ehole,’ said Kyle. 

Jackie added through laughs: ‘I felt for you, I was like “s**t”, ’cause Tom’s had a headache for like six days.’  

Tom then revealed that he had used a ‘blood capsule’ to create the effect of the bloody nose.

‘Bit of fake blood, bit of NIDA acting, it get’s them every time,’ he added after apologising for the hilarious prank.
