Kyly Clarke shares an inspirational message after rough ratings week

‘Live like it’s heaven on earth!’ Kyly Clarke shares an inspirational message following dire ratings for House Rules and her split from ex Michael Clarke

Former WAG Kyly Clarke has been a breath of fresh air on Channel Seven’s revamped renovation series, House Rules: High Stakes.

And the beloved 38-year-old was as positive as ever on Sunday, despite a week that included getting smashed in the ratings by rival TV show, The Voice.

In an Instagram post, Kyly shared a snap of herself dressed in black active-wear and a red jumper while attempting a dance move at her home.

‘You’ve gotta dance like there’s nobody watching, Love like you’ll never be hurt, Sing like there’s nobody listening, And live like it’s heaven on earth,’ she captioned the photo.

Kyly wore a pair of designer shades as she posed by the grey wall.

It comes after a rough week for Kyly, after the reality singing show The Voice savagely beat House Rules: High Stakes in the ratings.

Channel Nine’s The Voice Australia had more than double the audience of House Rules: High Stakes on Tuesday night.

The Voice attracted a metro audience of 988,000, according to industry website Mumbrella, while House Rules had just 465,000.

Kyly had spoken to TV Week magazine only a day earlier about her role as interior design judge on the program.

‘I was always taught if you’re not a little nervous then you’re not serious enough about what you’re doing,’ she told the publication.

Kyly added that she had high expectations of herself after taking over the role made famous by Wendy Moore, the editor-in-chief of Home Beautiful magazine.

‘I do have expectations on myself to be good at my job, and to give my best for the viewers, so nerves definitely kicked in at first because of that,’ she said.

It comes after Kyly and her former husband Michael Clarke quietly parted ways in September. They did not announce their breakup until February this year.

The former couple is in the midst of a divorce estimated to be worth $40million, but remain on friendly terms for the sake of their four-year-old daughter, Kelsey Lee.
