The current photo of Jye sent his fans into a tailspin, with many commenting on how ‘handsome’ and ‘hot’ Larry’s son was.

Larry recently enjoyed a well-deserved getaway to his stunning eco getaway cabin in Sydney’s Kangaroo Valley.

But his delightful escape was cheekily interrupted, as a wild wombat rudely did his business on the shocked host’s doorstep.

The TV host documented the incident on Instagram, where he exclaimed: ‘Seriously buddy??? There’s absolutely nowhere else for you to do a poo? You gotta do THAT on my doorstep?’

He added the funny hashtags ‘cute but s**ty’ and ‘up close and personal’.

Fans in their masses were quick to comment on the hilarious video, with one writing: ‘That’s gold!’

‘Think of it as wombat renovation. He saw a need to add something to the door step to give it character,’ another quipped, while a third added: ‘It’s meant to be lucky!’

Larry and his wife Sylvie own the eco getaway cabin, purchasing it for $2.15million in October last year.

Meanwhile, Larry was recently confirmed as the new host of Seven’s top-rated afternoon game show, The Chase, after the show’s previous presenter Andrew O’Keefe was dumped by the network after a domestic violence charge was brought against him.

Following the news, Larry told The Daily Telegraph: ‘I’ve had a love affair with quiz shows for most of my working life, and the opportunity to host one of the TV world’s greatest formats is incredibly exciting.’

The TV presenter – who will keep his ‘dream job’ on The Morning Show alongside Kylie Gillies – also spoke out about Andrew’s departure from the show.

He said: ‘It’s a tumultuous time, but shows move on and productions move on and over the years many hosts have been replaced with many other hosts.

‘It’s happened very quickly. There’s no doubt about it, there’s lots of focus on it, but in keeping with what the network wants me to do, I have to aim for the blue sky and look forward.’

Larry was approached by the network two months ago, and wowed bosses with his audition.
