Attorney Lin Wood, who has been filing suits seeking to overturn the vote in states Donald Trump lost, said Wednesday the president called him to promise he would ‘never concede’ the election.
Wood spoke at what was billed as a press conference in Georgia along with lawyer Sidney Powell, who spoke at an infamous Trump campaign press conference last month in Washington but who the campaign now says is not on the team.
‘I spoke with him the other day he called me,’ Wood told a cheering crowd of supporters, telling of his chat with the president whose term expires next month.
‘He told me he knows he won this election. He said if I lost this election fair and square, I would concede. But he said, ‘Lin, I didn’t lose it. I won it,’ Wood said.

‘He said to me with the conviction of the president of the United States I will never concede,’ Wood announced, to cheers.
‘Don’t you ver conceded Mr. President. You won this election,’ he told the crowd.
He spoke a day after a judge hearing Wood and Powell’s case in Wisconsin noted that they failed to get the permission of one of the named plaintiffs in the suit.
In remarks with the tenor of a fiery preacher, Wood riled up supporters and raised suspicions about two Republicans on the ballot for runoff elections next month in Georgia, Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue.
He called on them to call for the Georgia legislature to meet and appoint electors for Trump, rather than follow the state’s vote for President-elect Joe Biden. And he told Republicans not to support them unless they pledge to do the same.

The two races will determine control of the Senate, with Republicans holding a 52 to 48 majority.
‘If they do not do it … they have not earned your vote,’ he told the crowd. ‘Don’t you give it to them.’
‘Why would you go back and vote in another rigged election? For god’s sakes fix it,’ he said.
Election results confirmed by a hand recount had Joe Biden winning the race in Georgia, beating Trump by more than 12,000 votes.
‘Thank God for President Donald Trump,’ said Wood. ‘He’s going to president of the United States for four more years. Watch it happen,’ he said.
‘We are the rock,’ invoking the Bible and invoked communism. ‘We’re going to slay Goliath, the communists, the liberals the phonies. Joe Biden will never set foot in the Oval Office of this country. It will not happen on our watch. Never gonna happen,’ he said.
He spoke on a day Biden’s lead ticked toward 81 million votes, with his percentage lead growing to 51 to 47 over Trump.
He also had harsh words for Attorney General Bill Barr, who said Tuesday there wasn’t enough evidence of voting fraud to overturn the election results.
‘You work for us, Attorney General Barr, he said. ‘Do your job! You tell the director of the FBI do your damn job!’ he said.
After Powell spoke, Wood asked the crowd: ‘How about Sidney Powell and Mike Flynn in 2024? They’ll fight for America.’
There are reports Trump could soon announce he will run in 2024.
Flynn on Wednesday tweeted out an article calling on Trump to impose martial law and have the military oversee a revote of the election.
Wood also described a conspiracy theory about voting machines, saying he voted in person but was angered to see his vote had connections to Venezuela, Canada, Barcelona, Frankfurt, and a ‘Chinese machine.’
Wood then demanded measures to secure elections like having voters confirm their identity by fingerprint.
