Lenny Kravitz discusses his ‘wonderful’ relationship with ex-wife Lisa Bonet and her husband Jason Momoa – and reveals the cute name their kids call him

Lenny Kravitz has spoken candidly about his very modern relationship with ex-wife Lisa Bonet. 

Speaking to Stellar magazine, the 56-year-old revealed he has always remained on good terms with Lisa, 52, and even shares a special bond with her new husband Jason, 41, as well as their two children Lola, 13, and Nakoa-Wolf, 11.

Lenny, who shares daughter Zoe, 30, with Lisa, told the publication on Sunday: ‘We are one family unit.’

‘Between my daughter [Zoe], Lisa and Jason, and their two kids, who call me Uncle Lenny,’ he divulged. 

‘We all love one another, we have one another’s backs; it’s wonderful,’ Lenny added. 

The Fly Away singer recently spoke to People magazine about his bond with Lisa, whom he divorced in 1993, and her Aquaman star spouse Jason, expressing how much he ‘loves’ both of them.

‘We have a child, and we love each other just as much as before – it’s just a different situation,’ he explained. 

Lenny went on to explain how developing such a relationship can take ‘time and dedication.’  

‘I love her husband, and I love her children,’ he said, adding: ‘We all get together, and we have the best times. We communicate, we have each other’s backs and that is the way it should be. We’re all one family,’ Lenny added.

Lenny is gearing up to release his new memoir Let Love Live later this month. 

He announced the release in June, telling fans on Instagram: ‘The book is about the first 25 years of my life, culminating in the release of my first album.’

‘Those years shaped me and taught me so much about myself and also formed a message of love and unity that I still believe in till this day.’
