Lewis Capaldi has revealed he is officially a taken man.
The singer, 23, divulged during a chat on Capital FM that he is dating a ‘posh redhead’, when quizzed over whether he prefers being single or in a relationship.
Lewis admitted that he is missing his other half, after she decided to head back to her family before the coronavirus lockdown was announced earlier this year.

When asked whether he prefers the single or taken lifestyle, Lewis said: ‘Well, I’m in a relationship, so if I said the other one, my girlfriend would kill me.
‘I’ve never told anybody that I’m in a relationship, so there you go…She’s got red hair, she’s got quite a posh voice.’And that’s that, that’s all your getting.’
Lewis didn’t mention the identity of his new girlfriend, however the Mirror have reported that it is Catherine Halliday, 21, who is followed by Lewis on Instagram.

Earlier this year Lewis was linked to Scottish native Catherine after it was claimed the duo had been on a string of low-key dates in his hometown of West Lothian.
Onlookers told the Sun that the pair enjoyed a relaxed date at a Prezzo for their latest outing, and they claimed the duo were ‘very flirty’ with one another.
A source speaking to the publication claimed the pair had a blossoming relationship, as they said: ‘They were being very flirty and seemed to be having fun — both laughing and joking a lot, touching hands and being tactile.
‘You’d never know he was one of the biggest stars in the country and it’s a very low key place to go and eat but he obviously doesn’t go in for all the fancy celebrity stuff.

‘They were holding hands as they left and went for the car, and Lewis posed for a couple of photos with fans and then climbed into a Fiesta and drove off.’
Little is known about Catherine, but it seems the singer has found romance after his former flame Paige Turley won Love Island with Finn Tapp on Sunday.
Lewis and Paige dated for over a year after meeting in college, but things are said to have ended on a sour note.
While Paige found love in the South African villa, Lewis has stormed the BRIT Awards, coming away with gongs for Best New Artist and Song of the Year.

And in his acceptance speech the singer left fans in hysterics as he revealed to the audience the true inspiration behind his song Someone You Love was not Paige but instead his late Grandmother.
While poking fun at his ex, the self professed ‘Scottish Beyonce’ picked up his award, saying: ‘Thanks very much for this.
‘Contrary to popular belief, a lot of people think this song is about my ex-girlfriend who you can now see every night on Love Island.
‘But it is actually about my grandmother who has sadly passed away a few years ago’
He then cheekily added: ‘And I hope to god ITV don’t contact her to go on a reality TV show.’
Despite his cheeky jibe, Lewis wished Paige well during her time in the villa and claimed that she had his full support.
