He was the Oasis frontman, whose voice is synonymous with their smash hits including: Wonderwall, Supersonic and Champagne Supernova.

And, Liam Gallagher, 47, entertained the nation with hilarious champagne soap-ernova hand-washing videos on Saturday, filmed at home in his kitchen amid the UK-wide coronavirus lockdown.

The singer took to Twitter to share black and white videos of himself performing cleanliness-inspired versions some of his greatest hits while washing his hands, telling fans: ‘If you know the words, wash along!’

At midday on Saturday, Liam tweeted: ‘Back on the lash c’mon you know Dya think I got a drunk problem LG x.’ 

Later in the day he uploaded a series of black and white videos of himself singing some of his iconic tunes, but with a twist.

The singer changed the lyrics to include themes of cleanliness as he encouraged fans to wash their hands amid the coronavirus pandemic.

He then tweeted: ‘Here’s another one you might know. It’s called SOAPERSONIC. If you know the words wash along LG x’ accompanied by another video of himself singing Supernova, soap-style.

He sang: ‘I need to be myself, I can’t be no-one else. I’m feeling SOAP-ersonic. Give me gin and tonic. You can have it all but how much do you want it? Wash your hands you little f**kers.’

Once again, the rocker was stood washing his hands – and quickly pumped some cleaning product into his hand – before but singing out his revamped version of Champagne Supernova.

He sang: ‘You will find me company of a landslide, in a champagne SOAP-ernova in the sky. Wash your hands ya little f**kers!’
