David Beckham celebrated Inter Miami CF’s first win of the season in the company of family friends Liv Tyler and Dave Gardener on Saturday.
The retired footballer is godparent to the couple’s son Sailor, six, and daughter Lula, four, who came along to watch the match in Miami.
David owns a stake in the football club, while Dave acts his agent, overseeing the retired sportsman’s businesses. David’s friend and former teammate Phil Neville is manager of the club.

Taking to Instagram after the club’s 2-1 victory over Philadelphia Union, Liv offered her congratulations with a sweet snap of David hugging Sailor and Lula, captioned: ‘Congratulations to our sweet godfather @davidbeckham for your 1st @intermiamicf win!!!
‘We are so so proud of you !!!! And daddy @davidgardner and @philipneville18’.
The Lord Of The Rings actress then shared a snap of David chatting with her husband Dave that she captioned: ‘Years of planning, dreaming and building’.

She also offered her congratulations to Phil, as Inter Miami’s victory saw the manager record his first win as boss of the MLS outfit.
Phil was appointed as the manager of the team co-owned by former Manchester United teammate David in January, but had been denied a result during his opening game in charge by LA Galaxy.
Liv and Dave have attended several of the team’s matches to support the Beckham brood, having been family friends for years.

Back in 2015, Liv revealed that David is the ideal godparent as he gave ‘good presents’ to their son.
Liv said on The Jonathan Ross Show: ‘He is very sweet, he gives very good presents. And he’s a real gentleman, he’s a very elegant person, so very sweet… He loves being a father.’
Liv and Dave started dating in early 2014 after apparently being introduced by mutual friend Kate Moss.
They both have children from previous relationships; Liv has 16-year-old son, Milo, with ex-husband, Royston Langdon.
While Dave has 13-year-old son, Gray, from his marriage to former Hollyoaks actress Davinia Taylor.

Meanwhile, David has been married to Victoria for 22 years and they share children Brooklyn, 22, Romeo, 18, Cruz, 15, and Harper, nine.
The family are currently staying out in Miami while David oversees his football club.
Inter Miami finished 10th out of 14 teams in the Eastern Conference during their debut season in 2020.
The match comes after it was reported that Inter Miami are expected to face sanctions after a Major League Soccer investigation found they ‘broke budget regulations’ when they signed France midfielder Blaise Matuidi last year.
MLS have determined that when French World Cup winner Matuidi, 34, joined from Juventus in August 2020, he should have been a designated player due to the size of his salary.
They are also allowed a third if the club made a $150,000 payment (£108,000) to the league split among the other sides.
Instead, as reported by the BBC, Inter Miami listed him as a Targeted Allocation Money (TAM) player and saved their three designated player slots for Gonzalo Higuain, Rodolfo Pizarro and Matias Pellegrini.
This effectively gave the team four ‘designated players’ last season rather than the permitted three; MLS have said the final results of the investigation, including sanctions, will be announced in due course.

Designated players’ wages do not count towards the MLS salary cap and each team is allowed two-high priced designated players whose wages exceed the league’s salary cap.
An investigation by the MLS is said to have discovered that Matuidi was paid above the limit for a TAM player and should have been classed as a designated player, meaning Inter Miami broke the rules when they registered him.
Known as the ‘Beckham rule’ the designated players laws were introduced when the former England captain joined Los Angeles Galaxy back in 2007.
David was given at the time an option to purchase an expansion franchise, later becoming a co-owner of Inter Miami who played their first game in March 2020.
