She recently admitted that she ‘ran’ from her 21 year marriage to ex-husband Jamie Redknapp and had thoughts of ending her life amid the divorce.

The singer, 46, draped a red paisley kimono over her shoulders as she posed for a selfie GIF outside.

Louise left her caramel tresses in a relaxed natural wave, her delicate silver necklace which featured her initials peaked out from underneath.

The mother-of-two also appeared to go make-up free.

She captioned the stunning upload to her Instagram Story: ‘God the sun is shining today brings back that feeling of how much we need the sun’.

Louise recently thanked fans for their support after speaking candidly about the breakdown of her marriage to Jamie, 47, telling them: ‘It is very difficult opening up.’

And speaking on Sunday after her shock revelation, Louise told how she was grateful for people reaching out to her with kind words, remarking that there is ‘so much judgement’ and ‘lack of compassion’ in society.

Taking to Instagram, where she also referenced her new book, she penned: ‘I wanted to touch base and thank you all, for all the messages I’ve received today.

‘”You’ve Got This” is by no means a tell all autobiography, But I do talk about many different aspects of my life – some good, some bad and other lessons I have learnt along the way.

‘I really do hope this book will help, empower and bring some sort of light to anybody who has been or is going through something that hasn’t been easy.’

She continued: ‘It is very difficult opening up as there is so much judgement, lack of compassion and nasty comments in the world today but the one thing I’ve learnt over the last few years is that kindness really can go a long way!

‘So to all of you that have reached out to me today thank you I will reply yo as many of you as I can… you’ve all got this! Love Lou ❤️ xxx.’

It comes after her candid chat with You magazine in which she detailed her feelings about the split with Jamie, three years on.

Having rediscovered her love for herself following her stint on Strictly Come Dancing, the singer admitted: ‘I didn’t want to lose so much of the good feeling. Before anyone could stop me, I just ran, as fast as the wind would take me. I never once looked behind, until maybe too late.

‘I should have paused for a minute and thought about other people and had just a bit more time to work out why I felt I couldn’t do it any more. All I know is, I wish I’d tried [to save the marriage].’

She added: ‘I want to say to anybody who is thinking of running: “Just slow down. Don’t run.” Because once you run too fast, you can’t make up the ground you’ve lost.

‘Stop, say what you need, say what you think, don’t be afraid to say what’s really going on. You don’t have to be quiet.’

Speaking about her post-divorce return to performing, she said: ‘I don’t think I would have been in the West End or made a new album if I hadn’t maybe f**ked things up.

‘There’s a part of you that thrives on the fight, to make you what you are.’

Louise explained that she was so tormented by her split that she contemplated ending it all by stepping out in front of a bus.

But the prospect of leaving her sons Charley, now 16, and Beau, now 12, without a mother forced her to brush aside her suicidal thoughts.

Recalling her turmoil, she said: ‘I would be standing in Central London, watching the buses whizz past and I would wonder whether it would be easier for a bus to take me out.

‘All it would take was for me to step out at the wrong moment and it would all be over.’
