Love Island’s Arabella Chi distracts herself from Wes Nelson split with a workout in the park 

She split from her boyfriend Wes Nelson during lockdown. 

And Arabella Chi kept herself distracted as she worked out in the park in London on Wednesday. 

The Love Island star, 29, showcased her incredibly toned physique in a black crop and matching lycra leggings. 

Arabella’s toned abs were on display as she ran through the park before doing a series of squats and lunges. 

The reality star looked like the trip to the park was doing her the world of good as she did the set of exercises while listening to music. 

The model stripped off her black jumper as she began to work up a sweat. 

The couple had been dating for nine months but are said to have ‘grown apart’ and become more aware of their six-year age gap. 

Wes, 22, moved out of the home he shares with the model so they don’t have to isolate together under the new lockdown rules.  

Wes is now living with pal and former Love Island star, Josh Denzel.

A source told The Sun: ‘It’s all over. They started to grow apart. They want to remain civil with each other and hope to remain friends.’

A representative for Wes and Arabella confirmed the news to MailOnline.   

The news will come as a shock to their fans, as just last week the pair revealed that they were enjoying their time in lockdown together. 

Speaking to OK! Online, Wes said: ‘It’s been alright. It’s hard to get out at the moment, isn’t it? We’re just trying to do our piece of exercise a day.

‘We spend a lot of time with each other anyway so it’s been okay to self-isolate because it’s pretty much what we have been doing anyway, it’s the same as before but we’re just not getting out and about.’    

Wes and Arabella moved into their first flat together back in December, gushing that they were ready to start ‘the next chapter’ of their life.

Arabella previously told MailOnline that having a relationship in the public eye has not been tough for the pair, saying: ‘It hasn’t been difficult at all. From day one, we’ve made it the most normal relationship.

‘We’ve never been like: “Oh, we’re having a relationship in the public eye”. We just try to forget that. We’re not like: ”You can’t do this, you can’t do that.” 

‘We’re just two normal people who like each other. We just do things like how you would in any relationship and that’s what’s made us really strong.’ 

In 2018, Wes reached the final of Love Island with former exotic dancer Megan Barton-Hanson, before ending their relationship in January 2019. 

Arabella then appeared on the 2019 series of the ITV2 show and struck up a brief romance with Danny Williams, but was dumped from the island after just seven days.
