Love Island’s Luke Mabbott branded his new girlfriend Lucie Donlan his ‘partner in crime’ in a sweet social media post shared on Saturday.
The former heating engineer, 25, and the model, 22, looked loved-up as they shared a hug on the beach during their romantic surfing trip in Yorkshire.
Just hours after going Instagram official, the winter contestant’s ex-girlfriend Demi Jones appeared to make a thinly-veiled dig at her co-star as she liked a tweet about being ‘better off alone’.

Luke and Lucie sported matching wetsuits as they put on a cosy display in the image uploaded to the hunk’s platform, which he captioned: ‘My partner in crime.’
The surfer commented: ‘Youuuu’ with a heart-eyed emoji, while the Justin Bieber-lookalike’s BFF Luke Trotman, who confirmed the pair’s romance days earlier, cheekily wrote: ‘Double date but no surfing.’ (sic)
Influencer Demi, 22, meanwhile, proved she’s well and truly over Luke as she recently liked a tweet about focusing on herself in lockdown.
The message read: ‘Lockdown has taught me I’m better off alone man, I have no patience for anyone’s rubbishiness.’ (sic)

In June, the auburn-haired reality star broke her silence on her split from Luke, ruling out any chance of a reconciliation.
They officially called it quits in May, a decision she claims was encouraged by the Redcar native.
In an interview with MailOnline, she said: ‘We’ve completely called it off now, I think it was brought about more from his behalf than mine, but we’re mutual and friendly.
‘With lockdown, it drove us apart and we live so far away from each other. I feel like there wasn’t a lot of effort made with communication, so we drifted as a result. It’s a shame and bad timing.
