RHONY’s Luann de Lesseps CONFIRMS romance with trainer Garth Wakeford who she met on a dating app and thought was ‘too good to be true’
Luann de Lesseps has confirmed she’s dating personal trainer Garth Wakeford.
The 55-year-old Real Housewives of New York star was spotted with the South African hunk in the Hamptons earlier this month.
And this week the reality star confirmed her new romance on podcast Ex Appeal.

She told hosts Jenn Lahmers and Julien Marlon that the couple met on Hinge: ‘We actually met on the dating app … He lives locally in the Hamptons,’
Luann said her immediate thought when she saw his profile was ‘Oh, he is too good to be true.’ but was pleasantly surprised when they met that the 6ft 6in fitness pro was exactly what he looks like on the app.
The duo first met for a coffee and wore face masks.

On their lunch date earlier this month the couple were spotted leaving eatery Tutti Di Giorno in East Hampton before hopping into Wakeford’s Mercedes convertible.

The Bravo star was last linked to talent agent Rich Super who she previously dated in 2018 after her divorce.
Luann’s short marriage to Tom D’Agostino ended in divorce in August 2017 after just seven months, amid rumors of his infidelity.
In an interview that same year, Luann admitted that she had had ‘blinders on’ when it came to the relationship but had fallen hard for the businessman.
‘We got engaged after three months and then we got married a year after, so I thought, plenty of time, because I got married two weeks after I met my first husband and it lasted 17 years, so I thought, you know this is how it works,’ she told Wendy Williams.
The ‘last straw’, she said, was when the press and her friends kept showing photos of D’Agostino out at bars after she’d asked him to stop doing that.
‘He’s 50 years old, he never asked anyone to marry him, so I thought I was different. I know he loved me. That’s not the issue and I know he went into it just like I did with a big heart and a lot of love,’ she said.

At the end of 2017, four months after her divorce from D’Agostino, Luann was arrested on charges of battery on an officer, disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest with violence, and crimes against a person in Palm Beach, Florida.
Luann was previously married to Count Alexandre de Lesseps from 1993 to 2009. They share children Victoria, 26, and Noel, 24.
She also dated Jacques Azoulay for more than four years in-between her two marriages.
