Married At First Sight star Beck Zemek explains why THAT kiss wasn’t cheating as she reflects on her split with ‘husband’ Jake Edwards
Married At First Sight’s Beck Zemek has denied cheating on husband Jake Edwards – before making bombshell claims about producers begging her to stay on the show.
The Perth-based business manager star, 27, alleged during an Instagram Q&A on Sunday that she was strongly encouraged to remain in the experiment despite voting to leave three times at the commitment ceremonies.
She made the claims after being asked by a follower: ‘Do you believe you cheated on Jake?’

‘In MAFS world yes! In the real world… no!’ Beck replied.
She went on to offer an explanation for her actions.
Beck claimed it was considered ‘cheating’ in the MAFS experiment because she was still ‘married’ to Jake – but in reality she had long since checked out of the relationship, as demonstrated by the fact she ‘wrote leave three times’.

She then took a swipe at Married At First Sight by saying it’s not a ‘reality’-based experiment but instead an entertainment show.
‘They’re a show not reality,’ Beck concluded.
Beck’s husband Jake was left heartbroken after she was busted kissing an old flame on camera during the show’s finale last Sunday.
Former AFL star Jake was visibly shaken while viewing the video and demanded to see it again, after Beck initially claimed it was her brother she was kissing in the clip.

Beck had flown home to Perth to care for her sick dog, and during that time asked her ex to take the dog to the vet with her.
In the video, she says to camera: ‘I spoke to Jake before and made sure he was all okay without us.’
She added: ‘I’m only just waiting for the results back (for the dog), but hopefully can get back soon and see Jake again, cause I kind of miss him’.

A man is then seen walking in the room, and the camera fell to the bed.
‘Hey, my baby,’ Beck said, before the man said ‘Hello’ back and the pair were heard kissing out of shot as the dog jumped on the bed, obscuring the view.
Beck insisted it was her brother, however, went on to admit it was an ex.

In a previous interview with KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show, Beck revealed she was had ‘two kinds’ of Jake while on the show.
‘I got an on-camera Jake and off-camera Jake. He enjoyed playing a really calm and nurturing person on-camera,’ she said.
‘He would say ‘I want to spend time with you and I want to be with you’. But as soon as the cameras are off, Jake was gone,’ she added.
