They recently celebrated their two-year anniversary, after tying the knot on Channel Nine’s Married At First Sight in 2018.

And Martha Kalifatidis got emotional on Tuesday after her boyfriend, Michael Brunelli, shared a touching ‘appreciation’ about her.

Posting to Instagram Stories, Michael, 28, shared a clip of Martha, 31, reading his post as she admitted she ‘might actually cry’.

‘I can feel something happening in my eyes,’ she said while reading the tribute.

In the lengthy tribute, former schoolteacher Michael gushed about all the things he had learnt from his girlfriend since meeting at the altar.

‘Appreciation Post – What I’ve learnt from you,’ he began.

‘F**k the people that don’t support you. Don’t try to change them, let them go,’ he added, listing the first thing he’d learnt. 

Michael then shared several other lessons, including being ‘honest with your partner’, setting ‘crazy goals’ and ‘saying what you feel’.   

‘Follow your passion. Even if it doesn’t fit the norm. Don’t be scared of doing something different, embrace it and be confident,’ he added.

He signed of the post with a touching message: ‘I owe a lot of my success to you and this is only the beginning of what we will achieve.

‘We are a team and nobody can stop us. I love you more every day’. 

Martha and Michael met as strangers in September 2018, when they filmed their non-legally binding wedding on Married At First Sight.

They are one of the few successful couples to have met on Nine’s social experiment.
