MAFS star Jessika Power responds to Cyrell Paule’s epic rant

Married At First Sight’s Jessika Power has responded to Cyrell Paule’s Instagram post on Saturday, where she admitted to getting into an altercation with the blonde. 

Cyrell, 32, said she did in fact throw wine at Jessika, 28, at the reunion special filmed in December, ‘but could have thrown a punch instead’. 

Speaking to The Wash on Sunday, Jessika said that while she has ‘no ill will’ towards Cyrell, she did ‘not deserve to be shown that kind of violence’. 

‘It’s been two years [since our season was filmed], we shouldn’t have to use our fists or objects to get our frustration or point across,’ Jessika told the publication. 

‘I was happy to speak to Cyrell. However, unsurprisingly, she started off with aggression and pent-up anger.’

Jessika said that while she has ‘no ill will towards her’, the level of aggression was ‘overwhelming’ and she ‘did not deserve to be shown that kind of violence’. 

She added that their fight started when Cyrell claimed Jessika bullied her and spoke about her child Boston, shared with her Love Island star boyfriend Eden Dally. 

However, Jessika insisted she has never spoken about Boston, but did accuse Cyrell and Eden of having faked their romance for publicity.  

On Saturday, Cyrell unleashed an epic rant aimed at Jessika on Instagram.   

The fiery reality star confirmed that she did in fact throw wine at Jessika when they clashed at the Married At First Sight reunion. 

She wrote at length: ‘There’s been a lot of questions on whether I threw wine at Jess at the reunion… Yes I did! And at the time it felt f**ken GOOD.

‘And now I’m copping the usual… Cyrell’s aggressive! Cyrell can’t handle things in a right manner. Cyrell you’re a mother now!!!    

‘For those saying I am aggressive…. If I wanted to punch someone, I can!!! And there’s a reason why wine was thrown instead of punches!! 

‘I don’t know about you guys… But I’m not going to be fake just cause I’m being recorded on national TV!!!

‘Stop talking about my son, my partner, my relationship, my upbringing… And mainly how I should now that I’m a mother!!!  

‘Stop saying “It’s been how many years now, move on”. Saying that to people who have been bullied or words have been said… And ask them… If they have easily moved on.

‘This reunion brought me back to face people that I knew openly spoke bad about me… Even said “Cyrell must have been raised in a zoo” she wrote. 

Cyrell went on to say that if she was going to be painted as the ‘bad guy’ then she planned to embrace that role.
