MAFS star Michael Brunelli tells fans it’s okay to mess up

‘It’s normal to mess up’: MAFS star Michael Brunelli urges fans to not be so hard on themselves as he gets back on his healthy regimen after a night of overindulging in food and alcohol

Like many others, former Married At First Sight star Michael Brunelli has admitted to gaining a few kilograms over winter.

In a candid Instagram post on Sunday, the 28-year-old told his fans how he has been ‘eating consistently well’ over the past two weeks in order to drop the extra weight.

Despite overindulging in food and alcohol the night prior, Michael is not self-loathing, as one bad day of eating ‘won’t derail’ your goals, as long as you reset.

Michael shared a shirtless photo of himself sitting on the edge of his bed in his Sydney home, with girlfriend Martha Kalifatidis visible in the background.

‘So I f***ed up. I’m on my own weight cut right now. I put on a few kilograms over winter, so I’m eating in a calorie deficit to lose it,’ he began.

‘I’ve been eating consistently well over the last two weeks, but last night I drank a bathtub full of alcohol and ate the entire animal kingdom on the BBQ.’ ⁣⁣⁣⁣

Despite waking up with the worst hangover and only leaving his bed to collect his Uber Eats order, Michael won’t allow one day of bad eating to ruin his progress.

‘S**t happens. A day or two isn’t going to mess up the two weeks of work I’ve put in,’ the former primary school teacher stated.

Michael is keeping positive and jumping back on the health and fitness bandwagon.

‘I don’t feel bad about it. I had a good time doing it and I’ll be back to my normal diet and exercise tomorrow,’ he said.

Michael concluded by urging his fans to not be so ‘damn hard’ on themselves as one bad day ‘won’t derail’ your goals, and that it’s normal to ‘mess up’.
