Married At First Sight’s Tracey Jewel reveals why she mended her friendship with Dean Wells after he cheated on her on national TV
Dean Wells and Tracey Jewel shared a rather tumultuous ‘marriage’ on Married At First Sight’s fifth season in 2018.
So it surprised many fans when the former TV spouses were friendly towards each other on Sunday night’s MAFS grand reunion special.
Addressing fans questions on an Instagram Q&A on Monday, Tracey, 37, revealed why she mended her friendship with Dean, 42, in recent years.

Dean controversially cheated on Tracey by embarking on an illicit relationship with co-star Davina Rankin during filming.
Tracey repeatedly forgave Dean for his indiscretions at the time, but ultimately dumped him at the vow renewal ceremony.
‘Look, cheating isn’t black and white. I’m glad that Dean and I are still good friends after three years,’ she began.
‘I’m super happy in my life, and I don’t hold grudges. I don’t forget, and I’m certainly still anti-cheating, but I like to consider myself a forgiving person. Sometimes you make mistakes. We’re all human,’ Tracey added.

On Sunday night’s reunion episode, the pair happily greeted each other at the dinner party and shared pleasantries over Tracey’s pregnancy news as other guests arrived.
Tracey excitedly got up from her seat to greet Dean when he walked through the door in his signature T-shirt, blazer and sneakers look.
Dean also said it was ‘really good to see Tracey’, telling producers: ‘I’ve seen her a few times lately, and whatnot. We still talk a lot on the phone.’

Proving that things have been well between the pair for a while, Tracey also appeared on Dean’s podcast, Dangerous Ideas, in September 2020.
Tracey, who shares nine-year-old daughter Grace with ex-husband Jacob Anthonisz, is now pregnant with her first child with partner Nate.
In September, when she announced her baby news, Dean shared his congratulations in the comment section.
