‘But I obviously, on a serious-er note, am so thankful that I’ve – the silver lining of all this is that I’ve gotten to spend time with my son and husband in a real way that I haven’t before,’ the Watchmen actress added.

‘It has its pros and cons but wow has it ever been amazing,’ said Malin, who has a seven-year-old son Sebastian.

She was married to Sebastian’s father Roberto Zincone from 2007 to 2014 and tied the knot with her current husband Jack Donnelly in 2018.

Malin was on the talk show with her Friendsgiving co-stars Aisha Tyler, Kat Dennings and Chelsea Peretti to plug the film which came out last month to poor reviews.

Family matters came up again during the interview when Chelsea talked about balancing the shoot with parenting her son Beaumont Gino, three.

Chelsea shares her only child with her husband Jordan Peele, whom she eloped with in 2016 after getting engaged the previous year.

She welcomed their son into the world in 2017 and Friendsgiving was shot in the middle of 2018 so she needed help juggling work responsibilities with the baby.

‘Yeah, my nanny, God bless her, would drive up to the house we were shooting in and I would run down and nurse him and then run back up and it worked out,’ she said.

‘When you’re doing a comedy and you’re balancing a baby, how do you do it? Because I tried and it was really, really hard,’ asked Drew.

‘Yeah, I should clarify when I say nurse him I was putting on a nurse uniform and just, no. I don’t know how you balance it all you just feel constantly, well I guess you never have a pedicure anymore. In a lot of ways I’m an American hero,’ Chelsea quipped.
