Mandy Moore’s infant son August had a playdate with Hilary Duff’s wailing newborn daughter Mae this weekend.
Mandy, 37, posted a heartwarming picture to her Insta Stories on Saturday of her baby meeting up with Hilary’s.
Little Mae, who is just over a month old, was seen crying while baby August, who is about two months old, sat rather calmly beside her.

Mandy posted the picture of them to her Insta Stories with the sweet caption: ‘When August met Mae: a love story for the ages.’
Hilary then re-posted that photograph to her own Insta Stories and added her own little remark: ‘on the look for a fall and winter friend…’
Mandy welcomed her baby son on February 20 with her husband Taylor Goldsmith whom she has been married to since 2018.
While August is Mandy’s firstborn child Hilary is a mother of three and shares her youngest two children with her latest husband Matthew Koma.

Hilary shares her two-year-old daughter Banks with Matthew and her nine-year-old son Luca with her first husband Mike Comrie.
Mandy was one of the guests at Hilary’s wedding to Matthew in 2019 and Taylor even performed at the ceremony.
The Lizzie McGuire star went public with Mae’s birth by posting a snap of Banks in the bath captioned: ‘I’m a big sister ……. marinating on how I feel about that!’

Meanwhile Mandy married Taylor – who is the frontman of the band Dawes – in a secret wedding in her backyard.
She broke the news of her pregnancy in September with an Instagram snap of herself and her husband caressing her bump.
‘Baby Boy Goldsmith coming early 2021,’ the This Is Us actress revealed to her more than four million Instagram followers.

Mandy gave birth a little over two months ago and later revealed on Instagram how she and her husband decided to name the baby August.
‘It was last August when @taylordawesgoldsmith and I found out we were having a boy (it’s also Taylor’s birth month) and we always loved the name… so it was settled very early on in our book,’ Mandy dished.
