She told the Radio 4 audience response show Feedback: ‘It is sometimes important… for men to listen to understand what women feel about issues.

‘We did an item last week about female orgasm and there’s some research given to women, to give some sort of top tips to reach an orgasm, and many men were listening to that and were quite thankful to Woman’s Hour for giving them some information they didn’t have before.’

She added that ‘men’s perspective is very welcome’.
