Marcel Somerville was brought to tears as he welcomed his baby son Roman with fiancée Rebecca Vieira.
In a clip from MTV’s Celebrity Bumps, the former Love Island star explained he was ‘in awe’ after seeing the birth of his first child following a difficult delivery.
Detailing the moment he saw his son for the first time, Marcel described hearing his cry as ‘the best feeling in the world,’ and praised his ‘warrior Queen’ Rebecca for her strength during the labour.

In the clip, Marcel explains that it was a slow process bringing little Roman in the world, and even after an hour of pushing by Rebecca, the newborn was yet to arrive.
On-screen text explains that doctors decide to try and use forceps, as Rebecca cries out in pain during the challenging labour.
Marcel then explains: ‘They’re trying their hardest to fit them onto the baby’s head, but the baby’s head wasn’t in the right position, so the forceps were out the window.’

It’s then revealed medical staff decide to try a ventouse delivery, and use suction cups to pull little Roman out.
It takes one final push from Rebecca before her little boy arrives, with Marcel clearly stunned that he’s become a father for the first time.
Detailing the moment she finally brought her son into the world, Rebecca says: ‘After they said that the head is actually out I just feel like I got Superwoman strength out of thin air, and I just though if I push a bit more he’ll come out.’
Meanwhile Marcel struggles to hide his tears as he gazes at his baby boy in a hospital cot, saying: ‘I’m absolutely in awe of what I’ve just witnessed.’
Rebecca adds: ‘I’m actually a mess I can’t believe I don’t even feel anything anymore, as soon as he’s on me nothing else matters anymore.’

‘He just looked like it was just my world was just in someone’s hands innit, it was just a different kind of feeling. You’re so beautiful little man.’
The clip ends with Marcel praising fiancée Rebecca after she gave birth to their first child.
He says: ‘I’m so proud of Bex she’s been an absolute Amazon warrior Queen, the way she’s dealt with every scenario and finally got little man into the world there’s nothing by pride.’

It comes after they both admitted they are outraged by a faction of comments from followers on social media.
Speaking to The Mirror, the new mum said: ‘I’m both scared and angry at the same time that people think it’s OK to be racist in this day and age.
‘I received some really disturbing direct messages from one vile troll in particular who told me my son, Roman, was ugly.’

In a slew of abusive messages, the online bully also questioned why her child’s ‘nose is so big’.
An angered Rebecca added: ‘I hate it so much. How can anyone want to attack my Roman like that? How many times am I gonna have to receive these kinds of messages before something is done about it?’
Marcel took to Instagram after the birth to say his son is ‘the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen’ in a sweet post.
He wrote: ‘Roman Somerville Born 30/01/21 @ 23:37 My Heart!!! Pregnancy is a journey and this past 9 and a bit months have been totally worth it!

The reality star continued: ‘He’s literally the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen… Soooo Handsome. I can’t wait for you all to meet him.

He gushed: ‘Thank you for carrying him and bringing him into the world! Im so emotional right now but this has blown my mind. This Little Boy Is Everything.’
