Married At First Sight: Elizabeth Sobinoff and Seb Guilhaus cancel plans to move in together

Married At First Sight’s Elizabeth Sobinoff WON’T be moving in with Seb Guilhaus as their relationship faces a major setback due to coronavirus

Married At First Sight’s Elizabeth Sobinoff and Seb Guilhaus have cancelled their plans to move to Sydney together months after they started house-hunting.

They were initially set to move to the beachside suburb of Dee Why in late January but their rental fell through, and the COVID-19 pandemic has now put their plans on hold indefinitely.

Instead, Elizabeth, 28, is staying in Sydney for work purposes while Seb, 30, remains in South Australia, forcing the lovebirds into a long-distance relationship.

Elizabeth shared a video to Instagram on Tuesday addressing the situation, revealing she was self-isolating after returning to Sydney from Adelaide last week.

‘People are like, “Why are you not at Seb’s place?” I was there last week but got a phone call that I had to be in Sydney for work,’ she explained.

‘So I left South Australia. I’m now in quarantine. I have to do my work thing and then I’ll have to be in quarantine again [when I go back to Adelaide]. That’s just life. Coronavirus puts a lot of stress on a lot of different aspects. Yeah, It’s hard.

‘Obviously you have everything to do with MAFS and a new relationship, and then you have to go back and forth.’

Elizabeth added: ‘Seb was moving to Sydney, but that’s a lot to get organised and doesn’t happen overnight, he is based in South Australia.

‘I thought I’d be based in Adelaide for the time being but my work stuff is in New South Wales. Coronavirus has [had] a huge effect on a lot of people.’

While filming the reunion dinner party on January 15, Seb revealed the couple were all set to move to Dee Why in Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

He later told TV Week of the proposed move: ‘We had a place sorted in Dee Why, but that fell apart… So we’re still looking.’

However, the COVID-19 pandemic has paused their plans indefinitely.
