‘I love brutal Connie, please don’t ever leave!’ Fans applaud the Married At First Sight star after she says her ex Jonethen Musulin looks like ‘one of those hairless cats’ without his beard
Proving they’re still good friends following their breakup at the final commitment ceremony, Connie Crayden and Jonethen Musulin were able to share a laugh during Tuesday’s episode of Married At First Sight.
After greeting each other at the reunion dinner, Connie, 27, couldn’t help but notice Jonethen had shaved off his trademark beard since she last saw him.
‘What have you done to your face?’ a laughing Connie asked her 27-year-old ex, before later saying he looked like ‘one of those hairless cats’.

‘Why did he shave off his beard?’ she asked, clearly not a fan of his new look.
She added: ‘You look at it, and you say, “Hey, it’s a cat, but there’s something so wrong with it. Oh, wait. It’s got no hair”.’
One fan claimed Connie ‘nailed it’ in comparing Jonethen to a hairless cat, while another thought he looked more like ‘a naked mole rat’.

Others praised the former couple for maintaining a friendship and still being able to joke around with each other.

Another joked that Jonethen shaved his beard to repel Connie, after he repeatedly voted to leave the experiment.

‘Johno [sic] shaved his beard to make sure Connie doesn’t find him attractive or falls in love with him once again,’ one fan tweeted.
Others thought Connie’s reaction to seeing Jonethen without his trademark stubble was relatable.
‘Connie’s reaction to him shaving reminds me of the time a guy I liked grew his hair out and the attraction instantly dissipated,’ they tweeted.
Added another: ‘Ha ha ha! That moment when you run into your ex and they look like s**t – and now your broken heart is all of a sudden much, much better.’
One fan praised the once insecure Connie for returning for the show’s reunion with a newfound confidence.
